Wardlow and Co. News Update

We wish to inform all our clients about changes that HMRC will be implementing regarding the reporting of income and expenses.

Effective from April 2026, individuals with an income exceeding £50,000 will be required to submit quarterly returns every three months. Subsequently, from April 2027, this threshold will be lowered to include individuals with an income over £30,000, who will also need to file quarterly returns. Finally, from April 2028, this requirement will extend to individuals with an income over £20,000. Additionally, in conjunction with these quarterly submissions, a Final Declaration will be mandated at the conclusion of each tax year.

Our team is dedicated to finalising our clients' accounts by 31 January 2026. In February 2026, we will deploy new software and transition affected clients to this updated system to ensure a smooth transition for those affected by this change.

Please note, this number is designated solely for outgoing messages, and we kindly request that you do not reply to it. Rest assured, we will continue to keep you informed regarding any further developments.
